Nicholas Johnson, RN
I've had two hips replaced, treated for Leukemia, had a stem cell transplant, five stents installed, and now pneumonia. During that time, I've spent a lot of time in the hospital and met many nurses; Nick is one of the best!
In addition to being extremely knowledgeable about the profession, he explains everything forthrightly and clearly. Nick connects with you as a patient and takes the time to engage with you. This is such an important part of the care that patients need. Every hospital stay brings fear and anxiety; Nick eases those feelings by being fully present, looking you in the eye, and caring for you as a person. This is such a critical part of the journey to wellness.
As I sit in the doorway of my room, I can hear Nick with other patients, and it's always with the same professional service, engaging in conversation with a tone of compassion and laughter.
They don't get any better than Nick Johnson!
