The first night Nick came in as R's night nurse, I thought he is too young to have much experience. I was so wrong. Nick was so caring and kind. He always spoke to R and said, "R, I am Nick and I am going to give you your meds," or whatever he needed to do. Nick's first concern was his patient. He treated R as a person and not just another patient. Since I spent nights with R, Nick would as if there was anything he could do for me. Do you need a blanket and a pillow? My family is so thankful for people like Nick. He loves his job and is good at it.
