His nomination was submitted by the wife of an ICU patient who passed away. She described Nick as having the most compassion and a heart of gold. She stated that her husband was difficult to deal with, yet Nick treated him with respect as a person. Nick was described as her husband’s true angel. She wanted the entire hospital to know that Nick is a sweet, kind, compassionate human.
