Nichole was recognized by a patient's wife who described Nichole as caring, giving, motivated, and someone who puts patients and their loved ones first. The wife said you can tell that Nichole's heart is in her work and that nursing is her calling. Nichole described every treatment and intervention to the patient and family before performing the intervention and explained to the family why it was necessary and what the outcome should be. The wife said Nichole encouraged her to not give up her faith. "Thank you so much for lifting that weight off of my heart," the wife said. "I will forever be thankful and grateful for her kind words. She is an amazing person and nurse."
Nichole's clinical manager says she is always willing to help anyone and does it with a positive attitude. Nichole goes above and beyond any requirements. Her patients have come to rely on her comforting demeanor and her confidence to recognize changes and interventions early in their care.
Because of Nichole's compassionate and caring efforts, her patients experience a level of care that exemplifies the impact nurses have in creating an environment where patients and families feel at home.
