All the staff who took care of my mom was excellent. My mother and I are very grateful for the level of care all of the staff has shown us. But there was one nurse that won our hearts over. Nurse Nico! Since day one Nico was very attentive to both my mom and me. He tried his hardest to speak Spanish to my mother and make sure she knew what medications she was taking and what they were for. He always came in with a fabulous professional attitude. Nico’s warm spirit and care always made my mom feel safe and very well cared for, so much so that she was saddened every time she discovered her new nurses tending to her were not him. Nico also made me feel very comfortable and welcomed throughout my overnight stays at the hospital. He tried his hardest to make both of us feel welcomed and at home through this difficult process. Even when Nico was assigned to different rooms, he always tried to stop by to say hello and see how we were doing. We will forever be eternally grateful to Nico for the level of care and compassion, he displayed to my mother and me. Thank you so much for everything!
