Nick Boss, RN
My partner was taken by ambulance to the ER on a Friday evening. His daughter was with me when he was admitted to a room, and although several nurses attended to him for various procedures, one stood out – Nick.
As a first impression, Nick stood out, personally, because of his Halloween shirt, purple hair, and multiple arm tattoos, but his caring, concern, and professionalism made him stand out professionally.
He was calm and decisive in his words and actions. He engendered feelings of calm and confidence in my partner’s daughter and in me. Although we knew he had many others to attend to, we never felt Nick rushed through things; he took the time to explain the situation and even suggested a couple of things to make my partner more comfortable.
Nick is a prime example of a professional, competent, and caring nurse.
