Nick is attentive at all levels, with such a welcoming spirit that serves as a healing agent.
The first day I met Nick while attending to me, he got assistance from another nurse, and he thanked her. She replied and said, "Anything for you, Nick." At that moment, I knew he was special. He was my night nurse, and immediately, he shared compassion, concern, and empathy towards me. I called him in my room early one morning to ask about my high blood pressure. He literally sat down and explained to me about high blood pressure. He talked about the salt, sugar, and starches found in certain foods. He talked about the need to exercise, mainly walking, as a good source to lower blood pressure. He knew I was highly concerned about my high blood pressure, so taking the time to actually explain it all to me gave me a sense of reassurance in lowering my blood pressure. Nick is attentive at all levels, with such a welcoming spirit that serves as a healing agent. This is what his presence and care did for me.
