Nick took care of our mom in the ICU when she was on a ventilator after having emergency surgery. The plan was only to have her on the vent for 1 or 2 days, yet she wasn’t stable. Every day the team would try to get her off the vent. This process continued for many days. We met Nick on day six and he continued to take care of our mom for the next few days. He explained every medicine he was giving my mom and the reason. He showed our mom love. The family was so touched by the compassion he showed our mom. On day nine, this nurse and the doctor were able to get our mom off the vent.

Nick has the best bedside manner and was always there when we needed him. My husband has been recovering with complications putting him back into hospitals. Nick is the best we have encountered. He was always kind. He was very gentle with my husband. I wish there were more nurses in Toledo that were as caring and knowledgeable as this nurse.
