Nick Springer, RN

My 80 year old dad was moved to ICU following a fall that required surgery. Nick was the nurse assigned to him. Not only was Nick kind, but he listened to our concerns. My dad has multiple health issues and one that requires immunoglobulin treatments to boost his immune system. Nick made multiple calls to get the IVIG treatments from the oncologist. He also showed increased concern for my dad’s diabetes and made multiple calls to his endocrinologist. He always answered every question we had as a family. To see the care he had for the overall patient was a blessing and I felt comfortable leaving ICU visiting times knowing that Nick was taking care of my father.
