Nicola Sunderland, RGN
The nomination of one particular nurse is different because so many on the hematology unit are so kind and dedicated.
I nominate Nicola Sunderland because of the way in which the relationship between nurse and patient has developed between us. She is kind and understanding and recognises the importance of making sure everything is timed and actioned correctly.
We may have inadvertently been slightly at odds at first but this has been significantly overcome. So much so that she is my clear candidate to be nominated for this award.
I am sure that other patients will respond in the same way. Nicola is thorough, professional, kind, and courteous.As I have said from the onset, it is difficult to single someone out when all the staff are outstanding. Nicola, however, falls into this category.
