Being a psychiatric patient isn’t easy. Often you are emotional, scared, confused, and sometimes just a little out of your mind. I was all of these things. “Hi I’m Nikki, I’m going to be your nurse today.” I didn’t know then that this nurse would truly make a difference in my life. Countless times she took the extra time to talk to me and to help calm me down. Numerous times she sat with me while I cried speaking nothing but words of hope and future to me. She is always cheerful and willing to help you. She is always willing to be there and treated me like a human and never passed judgment. She is a phenomenal nurse.

Attitude, compassion, kindness, understanding, and true awareness.
She passes all of these things, more than anything though, she truly cares!
