Let me start by saying that I was fortunate to meet all of the nurses and the entire staff at Bethesda East. However, my nurse on floor 2EW was exemplary. Nicole was not only a problem solver, an advocate, a terrific injection giver, and a medical guru, she was gentle and compassionate. My nurse followed through with calls to the doctor, reminded me about follow-up rabies shots, calmed me down when I was nervous, and she offered explanations to questions I asked. She was quick to notify my doctors promptly when they should be dispensing information. Nicole exuded warmth and trust. That made my stay a pleasant experience.
