Every nurse has a day (or 100) where they feel overwhelmed and can't seem to catch up. Today I had several acute patients. Without prompting, I heard Nicole in my patient's room next door, giving medications and checking in on her. She continued to check on my patients, popping her head in to tell me everyone was good. Throughout the day she asked me how she could help and was my Godsend, lifesaver! Nicole is forever a team player and a reliable source of help and support.
