Nikki is a nurse who shows her patients respect, care, competence, and joy. During my stay, I experienced extreme pain, frustration, and aggravation. These experiences led me to lash out at times. Nikki always remained calm towards me, even when I didn't think I deserved it. She respected my wishes, she provided great care at all times, competence was always displayed and when I wasn't upset, angry, or in pain, she helped me to laugh and see joy. I was grateful for the care she provided me each day. Nikki is truly a great nurse. Anyone who can deal with a cantankerous patient and return with a smile providing excellent care should be recognized. Thank you, Nikki! You are an amazing nurse.
