Nicole doesn’t just do her job well, but she continuously goes above and beyond. She connects with every patient and has a great way of calming them down and making them feel comfortable in a department that can seem scary to some.

Most recently, we had a young West Point cadet who had just received some bad news. Nicole immediately realized that he needed support. This young man was in a foreign state, far from any of his family. Nicole went out of her way to comfort him; she even went to the gift shop to purchase items to make him a care package. She found this young man on the inpatient unit and hand-delivered the gift basket along with some other endoscopy nurses. It was great to be there to witness this tremendous act of kindness. This patient was so appreciative of Nicole’s efforts. Nicole is what every nurse should strive to be, and this organization should be incredibly proud to have her on staff.
