I have had the pleasure of working with Nikki Branca for the past nine years and I cannot say enough positive things about her. Nikki has a way of creating a therapeutic environment for her patients and a pleasant atmosphere for her staff. Nikki is compassionate, caring, sympathetic, and reliable and respects everyone she comes into contact with. Nikki motivates her staff to become strong independent nurses by encouraging them to think for themselves. Nikki always says "I am a nurse. I have been in your shoes. I know what it takes. I want my staff to grow and learn and be the best they can be." Nikki is not only a co-worker but a great friend. My job is amazing because I get to work with her every day.

Working under the care of Nikki Branca has motivated me and helped me learn appropriate patient care. I have worked under Nikki on the adolescent unit and young adult. Nikki maintains professionalism and calm even with some of the most difficult situations. Nikki Branca has been the model caregiver I aspire to be in my future career development. This past winter on the adolescent unit, the acuity was extremely high. This involved many high-stress days with high-risk patients. Nikki was able to provide adequate care to these patients and also support her staff in the meantime. Nikki is a team player, always asking her staff their thoughts to provide a perfect treatment plan specific to each patient.
