Nicole gave us more than excellent health care, she gave us strength and hope. Nicole's background in counseling served us well. My husband's medical challenges are life changing and Nicole helped us navigate our anxieties while validating our diverse emotions. Nicole, understanding the healing power of family, welcomed our family and helped answer the many questions they had about his unchartered health journey. She delivered hope as well. As my husband became stronger, she gave him the confidence to be more independent in his new "normal". She calmed his unsteady hands and reduced his anxiety by implying or stating, "You got this, but I am here for you." Nicole was "all in" when it came to my husband. She initiated his first round of therapy and personally escorted him out of the hospital. Needless to say, in our eyes, Nicole was heaven sent. She delivered excellent medical care and nurtured our spirits.
