Nicole was incredible. Throughout my whole stay, she was very responsive and sensitive to my condition. Whenever I needed any new meds or additional to those I was already taking, she was there before I could even ask her for it. She explained what I was taking and why, so it made me feel comfortable during a frustrating and stressful time. She not only administered meds on the right schedule but went out of her way to make sure I didn't have any reaction before leaving.
Nicole took the time to get to know me as a person and not just a patient number. I have experienced a lot of nurses and no one compares to her. If I had any requests, she was great to either accommodate or explain the reasoning why the answer may be no. Even during times where I didn't need a new IV bag or other meds, she stopped in just to make sure I had everything I needed and re-iterated that if there was ANYTHING I was struggling with to give her a call and she would handle it ASAP.
Nicole was so supportive, helpful, kind, and cheerful that I didn't even feel like I was being treated in a hospital. She went above and beyond every shift. I can only imagine she treated her other patients with the same care. Nicole deserved to be recognized for her efforts. She is the best nurse or doctor I've ever been cared for by.
