It is with great pride and appreciation that we recognize Nikki Cribbin for her exceptional leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to patient safety and excellence in care. Nikki consistently goes above and beyond in her role as a nurse manager, demonstrating an extraordinary level of responsibility and compassion for both her patients and her team. Her leadership has had a meaningful and lasting impact across Cohen Children’s Medical Center, particularly through her efforts to strengthen medication safety practices with Barcoding. Her commitment to best practices has directly supported safer, more reliable patient care.

In addition, Nikki has been an invaluable clinical and operational resource for the hematology and oncology units, supporting one of our most vulnerable patient populations. During the hospital’s transition to the Epic electronic medical record system, Nikki was instrumental in ensuring chemotherapy orders were accurately transcribed into the Epic system, helping to establish workflows that supported nurses, physicians, patients, and families alike.

Her thoughtful approach ensured both safety and efficiency during a time of significant transformation. Nikki’s leadership, expertise, and dedication reflect the very best of nursing practice. She exemplifies professionalism, accountability, and compassion, and her contributions continue to elevate the quality and safety of care provided throughout the organization.
