I was hospitalized at St. Clare for two days. My first night at St. Clare being a patient was very rocky. I was in ER hold laying on the gurney bed until 4 am. When I woke up, my head hurt, my back hurt, and my RN asked me if I needed anything, because I had my call light on. So I told her how I felt. I told her the bed was not comfortable and she said she would see what she could do. Thirty minutes after, Nicole showed up with a real bed. It was so nice that she took her time and got a bed for me despite it being a busy time for everybody. But then she showed up with a smile pushing that big bed for a patient like me. She has a big heart and is an asset to St. Clare Hospital. I can see she really cares for her patients.
Nicole does the little things and big things, she always works hard for her patients. Me being on the other side of the coin, it makes me realize that the patient is helpless without nurses helping them.
After that night when Nicole helped me, I had the best experience at St. Clare Hospital as a patient. I would do it again!
