When I finally found out I was going to have heart surgery, I began to feel overwhelmed, anxious, nervous, and emotional all-in-one. Nicole was there for me with open arms and a shoulder to cry on when I needed it the most. Nicole didn't brush my feelings away nor make me feel rushed about expressing my feelings, even though I knew she had other patients she may have had to attend to. She made me feel more than comfortable, safe, and secure about the news I had just heard. I called her my support nurse and was very thankful for her being there for me.
