Nicole Flinn, BSN, RN

Nicole is a nurse unlike any other. It has been my honor to work alongside her, learn from her, and share so many memories of patient care with her. Her skill set is unmatched, and she truly makes a difference every shift that she works. She goes the extra mile at all times, is so genuinely compassionate, and truly embodies the values of Children's Hospital. I can think of so many times where I'd be walking by and see her cuddling a parentless baby, comforting a scared child, or educating a family in such a gentle manner. She has such an eye for detail and excellence, that it truly is amazing to watch her work. She's the nurse any parent would want for their child. She gives parents the chance to relax and take a deep breath because her care is so phenomenal, while allowing children to feel like kids, amidst one of their scariest moments. She raises the bar and helps us all to be better nurses. She will continue to change lives and I'm excited to watch it unfold!
