Nicole Flores, RN

We are nominating Nurse Nicole for the DAISY Award. She was recently our overnight nurse after we welcomed our baby into the world. Nicole was kind, warm, and extremely helpful during our stay. It was clear she had strong skills and was focused on providing the best care possible for her patients. What really stood out to our family was her diligence in caring for our newborn baby. Her commitment to monitoring and testing our newborn allowed us to identify a heart defect that could have easily gone unnoticed. Nicole followed her protocol and continued to test and communicate with the hospital team until we had answers. She also kept us completely informed throughout the process. Because we have this information, we can now proactively monitor and support our daughter’s condition. We will always be grateful to Nicole for keeping our family healthy.
