Nicole Gadbois, RN

This morning I was informed that the Memorial ED had a refugee family show up at night to the ED over this past weekend. This family consisted of mom who was pregnant, dad and 15 month old child. This family did not have shelter and was allowed to stay in the ED until morning. The next morning one of the ED RN’s stated to the attending that her friend worked with the refugees and could assist them on getting a place to stay. Nicole called her friend and shortly this family was brought to housing. I just wanted to give a huge kudos to Nicole Gadbois for going above and beyond and helping this family find shelter!!
