Nicole G was such a wonderful, caring nurse. She helped me so much. She took such good care of me. She would calm me down. She was there whenever I called. Most of all, she was patient with me. She is devoted to her job. I think she is the best nurse ever. You are so blessed to have you on your staff. Thank you, Nicole G., for everything you did for me.

We met Nicole on the day my husband was being discharged from 4th floor observation. He had been in this location for 3.5 days after being in the ER. He had a fall at home and was ambulanced to the ER with a fractured shoulder, a broken bone in his hand, and multiple bruises and abrasions. While on observation on the 4th floor, he was on IV pain medication and had not been on oral medication. I did not feel comfortable taking him home and needed to speak to a social worker. The social worker contacted Nicole, and she represented me at a meeting regarding my concerns. Nicole was very compassionate and understood my husband’s pain. Unfortunately, she had to give me the bad news that my husband was being discharged regardless of the circumstances. We appreciated her concern and recognized how difficult it was for her not to be able to help us. Nicole is a very compassionate nurse whom Jefferson Hospital is lucky to have.
