Nicole was caring for a patient who was given a diagnosis that was terminal. She noticed the patient's anxiety and difficult situation. She pulled up a chair and started singing to the patient, while rubbing the patient's head. This calmed the patient down and put the patient to sleep. This action from Nicole demonstrated above and beyond individualized patient care. As a nurse myself, I realized that Nicole loves each and everyone of her patients.
