I was more at peace knowing I had this sweet nurse taking excellent care of me and talking about personal stuff too.
I was hospitalized after coming to the ER with various symptoms. With COVID-19 rampant in the world, they told me I would be tested for COVID-19 but the doctor also said it could be "walking" pneumonia. I was admitted to the hospital my first time ever for something other than childbirth, which was 25+ years ago. The nurses were very professional and nice. I was scared because initially, I didn't know what was going on. Thankfully the second day, Nicole R, LPN, came in and told me that I was COVID negative and she was so sweet and assuring that everything was going to be okay. That meant a lot to me! I was more at peace knowing I had this sweet nurse taking excellent care of me and talking about personal stuff too. She was really personable. I appreciated that not in just everyday talk. I slept better that night knowing things were going to be "okay". Even a 50+-year-old woman can be scared in an environment she isn't used to. Thank you Henryetta Hillcrest nurses and a special "THANK YOU" to Nicole R.

I would like to have Nicole Rogers to be held up to a different standard. She set the bar for which every other nurse should shoot for. Nicole went beyond to show me that I'm not just a patient. She had a smile every time she entered my room, she asked how I was doing and asked if I needed anything. She was prompt and on time with all the things I needed as a patient. If all nurses were as Nicole was I think everybody wouldn't mind being here at Hillcrest. Nicole thank you for making my stay the best I have ever had.
