I just wanted to take a few minutes of your time to let you know that Nicole Martin in the Jefferson ER changed my life. Exactly one year ago I brought my father to the emergency room at Jefferson not knowing what could happen. Needless to say, it was a traumatizing experience. Nicole did everything she could to comfort me and keep me calm. Although at the time I was alone, I didn’t feel like I was because of Nicole. I’ll never forget her taking the time to call my brother when I needed him most. Unfortunately, this past week I had to take my father back to the ER. As soon as Nicole entered the room, I was at ease. I explained to her what the last year has been like, and I thanked her for being a part of saving my Dad’s life exactly one year prior. I just wanted you to know that it’s people like Nicole who leave a lasting impression on people during their weakest most vulnerable moments. I always said it takes a certain kind of person to be able to handle the emergency room and that is Nicole Martin. I will forever be indebted to her, and I pray for her and her children every night.
