Nicole went above and beyond her duties to help a patient who had diarrhea in the cafeteria. The patient had lost control of her bowels and was embarrassed because of it. Nicole consoled the patient and helped her get cleaned up. She worked hard to maintain the patient's dignity and privacy. Nicole even helped clean up the patient's bowel movement. Those close to the incident had only thrown towels down. Nicole then escorted the patient to the hand sanitizer to wash her hands. Most impressive of all is that the patient wasn't even her patient!!! Nicole was only a nurse who happened to be nearby.
