Nicole Nazanin, RN

As desperate as I was to leave the NICU, nurses like Nicole are part of the reason I no longer feel so rushed to leave and will actually be sad when we go because she made me feel comfortable in a place where I never thought I would be comfortable. Nicole went above and beyond for my family. I felt very confident in Nicole's competence and advisement from a medical standpoint. I always appreciated her warmth, allowing me to ask repetitive questions as I adjusted to my new role as a mom to a micro-preemie. Nicole helped me celebrate the fun moments with "E," such as dressing her up and appreciating "E's" personality, which was especially important since so many "normal" moments were missed due to having a micro-preemie and due to COVID-19. I could not celebrate her the way I imagined with my family. Nicole is exactly what excellent patient care is, and we are forever thankful!
