A patient who was admitted but still in the emergency department was being evaluated by the inpatient medical team when they were suggesting the patient be discharged. Nicole went over and above to advocate for the patient and have him stay. He had multiple comorbidities that needed management and med adjustment. She showed a commitment to the patient, his health and safety.
