The nomination explains how Rindal taught a patient about fall risks and explained why the patient was at high risk. Rather than scolding the patient for getting out of bed unassisted, Rindal explained that she was responsible for the patient's safety and she wanted to protect the patient.
The patient appreciated that Rindal "was watching out for me," according to the nomination.
