A letter from a patient: “We want to commend this nurse for her quick and decisive action in a medical emergency. This nurse visited for a home care follow-up after a hospital stay following a fall. When this nurse was taking vitals, she was alarmed by the bradycardia. After checking her vitals multiple times, the nurse determined more intervention was needed and called 911. Subsequently, she was admitted to RWJ, where she received a pacemaker. She is currently doing very well. Thanks to this nurse for being an excellent nurse! You may very well have saved my loved one’s life.”
