My Mom broke her hip and spent several days in the surgical care unit at RRMC. Nicole was her nurse and was absolutely amazing! My Mom has pretty advanced dementia and was having a very hard time. Nicole treated my Mom with so much compassion and respect! During this time, my Mom lashed out at everyone and for the first time, even at me. Nicole was so helpful to me and made such a difficult time easier. She explained that her prior experience included working in memory care and was so helpful to me. She shared things that not only helped me get through the hospital stay, but things that I believe will help sustain me throughout this difficult journey. I am so grateful for Nicole, her expertise, and the care she provided to my Mom. It was absolutely priceless.
