I was a patient on Lerner Tower 6 following a knee replacement. I would like to share with you how extremely grateful I am for the care I received from nurses and support staff while I was in the hospital. The entire staff on duty during these shifts were highly competent and one nurse especially stood out, Nicole Kettle. Nicole’s professional manner along with her compassionate ways was very much appreciated following my surgery. All my questions and anxieties were handled extremely well and when my body decided it “had enough” and my vitals “crashed”, Nicole was right there calling in the necessary backup to handle the situation. She requested to keep me as a patient the following day and I was relieved to see her come through my door on Tuesday morning. Nicole is a shining example of how one person can make all the difference in a patient’s recovery.
