Last night, we had a patient come to the operating room for an emergent surgery. Both the patient and spouse were visibly shaken and scared. Nicole did an amazing job calming the couple and answering their questions. During the case, she called out to keep the family up to date. I could see how much this meant to the family. It was wonderful to see her compassion and excellent service.
