Nicole Sims, RN

Nicole Sims was the first nurse I met when I was admitted to the hospital after spending the day in the ER. Of course, I was exhausted, not feeling well, and upset. I would break down and cry. Nicole was there for me, talked to me, and hugged me, showing so much compassion and trying to lift my spirits. Nicole was very knowledgeable of her nursing skills, taking the time to explain to me what I did not understand in terms I could understand. I feel Nicole has all the qualities that make an excellent nurse. She is intelligent, friendly, compassionate, and relentless in obtaining the best possible outcomes for her patients. She treated me as if I were a close friend or family member even during those times when I may have been difficult to deal with because of how I was feeling. Nicole was very conscientious of my safety when I was walking as I had oxygen on an IV pole to take with me. She was not only with me but explained the safe way to move around.
