I am very thankful and appreciative to work with two great nurses, Nicole Stewart and Alicia Thornton, who have gone above and beyond to reach out and help their co-workers. They exemplify a "team player" attitude. On a rather busy workday for myself, I was overwhelmed with the multiple tasks that needed to be addressed for my patient assignment. Nicole and Alicia did not hesitate to step in and help me with my assignment as I was becoming rather frazzled and overwhelmed. Both of these ladies jumped in to help give medications to one patient, set up tubing for the fresh frozen plasma I had to hang on another patient. They both jumped in to help my other patient with setting up the family so the patient could bathe. Nicole even insisted I hand over my work phone for a brief period so I could meet up with my manager for a brief meeting (another task which I was attempting to complete during my work day).

These ladies were all hands on and I knew my patients were in good hands as these girls, who both had their own patient assignments, took the lead to lend a helping hand to me. I could not have accomplished the work load of that shift without their help. I am thankful for the team work on 7 North and that we have such reliable and exceptional nurses who selflessly lend a hand to one another! That's what makes 7 North a "family" unit. Thank you Nicole and Alicia!!
