Nicole is a very compassionate nurse. She is also very hardworking and always takes time to help her patients. She makes sure they have everything they need while they are in treatment and is comfortable. She always does rounds with the patients to make sure they are doing well with their treatment. She isn't afraid to step in and help us techs transfer patients. She is just a caring person all around!! We need more nurses like her!!

I wanted to nominate Nicole Welch, RN, at Belvidere DaVita for her kindness to both the patients and her fellow teammates. This RN goes above and beyond on a daily basis to give the best care to all the patients every day. The patients are always telling me how good of a job Nicole does with their care. The patients often tell me how safe they feel when they are under the care of this RN. This RN gets to know each patient on a 1:1 basis, and you can truly see that she cares for each and every patient. I also wanted to recognize her for her team behavior. I often hear from all teammates how much this RN is always willing to help on the treatment floor on a regular basis where ever help is needed.

Nicole communicates with patients and tries to explore patients' concerns by putting themselves in their positions and understanding their situations.
