I recently completed treatment for breast cancer. Nikki was my breast navigator. She became my lifeline during a difficult time. Her knowledge, professionalism, compassion, and caring meant everything to me. I am also an oncology nurse which added another layer of fear to my diagnosis. From the beginning, Nikki was consistently there for me. Over the past few months, she has provided a safe space for me to vent my questions, fears, tears, concerns, frustrations, etc. Her calm demeanor and knowledge base made it possible for me to get answers and reassurance during this awful time. I would not have made it through without her. Nikki is an excellent asset to the Breast Center nursing department. She represents your product very well while carrying out the missions of OSF. It is my hope that she can be recognized for the excellent care she provides!
