Nicole was always full of patience, compassion, and encouragement.
My mom began her Chemo/Radiation journey 6 weeks ago and is finishing today. I have been with her during every treatment. Nicole W was her infusion nurse for most of her treatment. Due to the location of Mom’s cancer, she was unable to hold her bladder. This became worse when given the LASIK. Nicole stepped up, showing her leadership abilities by taking the time to problem solve and create an environment that adapted to my mom’s needs and comfort. Nicole was always full of patience, compassion, and encouragement. It was clear from day one that Nicole was not only an expert in her field but genuinely cared about her patients and their journey.
We are thrilled to be done with the Chemo but are saddened by what feels like a loss of someone who has become a friend. Cancer treatment has been debilitating and scary. Thank you, Nicole, for guiding mom through it both professionally and personally.
Nicole is an absolute treasure to the Cancer Care Center.
