I wanted to let you know that Nigist is an excellent nurse. She explains what is going on with my health and procedures. She also has this beautiful smile that warms the room as she walks in. I am grateful to have her as my nurse. She is not loud. Her tone of voice is soft and pleasant to have around. Upon discharge, Nigist ensured I was ready to go with my prescription, and medicine in hand. She also went out of her way to find clothes and shoes that fit me upon discharge from the hospital. For this, I am truly grateful to have had her as my nurse at LAC+USC Medical Center.

Nigist's beautiful smile is definitely one of the first features you notice when she greets you. Although "she is not loud" and is rather soft-spoken, her presence is conveyed loud and clear through her work as Nurse, a teacher, a colleague, and in many ways, a leader. She plays multiple roles in the unit including Charge Nurse and Preceptor, and she really enjoys teaching. Her diligence, loyalty, and experience is an asset to our organization; while her compassion and caring nature towards her patients holds immeasurable value in her patients' lives.
