He maintained his soothing and professional demeanor in spite of the complaining, demanding and cranky patient he had in this old lady.
He anticipated needs, was always available and was aware of the side effects of my medications. When it turned out that two of my medications were making my condition worse, he had already withheld them, although I had yet to see the doctor assigned to my case after admission from the E.R.
He was very skilled at care, using the IV to insert medications without any pain or reaction, unlike a number of others, by his slow and careful actions. I highly recommend this young man for the DAISY Award.
He is among the best I've encountered in my many years as an experienced hospital patient including, most recently, the Cleveland Clinic for cancer and heart related issues. The others, too numerous to mention, include several of the top rated hospitals in the country with excellent nursing staffs.
Nar combines the best skills of a nurse - intelligence, skills, patience and diplomacy. I highly recommend that he be given this award.
