Nikasha Updah, MSN, RN
I was admitted to St. Agnes Hospital with a bile duct blockage, which required two separate Endoscopic procedures and internal bleeding. As a result, I was very, very uncomfortable during my 4-day stay. An exceptional nurse oversaw my care.

Nikasha was very attentive, pleasant, and competent in how she handled my care. There wasn't a eureka moment where she "saved my life," but the multitude of little things she did each shift made a big difference and, under the circumstances, allowed me to have the best day possible. That is no small thing when you are miserable, can't sleep, and watching each and every hour tick by. I tried to minimize use of the "call button," but whenever I did, Nikasha responded quickly and handled whatever it was I called about with compassion. It has been over 20 years since I personally had an overnight stay in the hospital, but my Father has been to St. Agnes on many occasions, so I have a good basis for comparing what I believe is standard and above-standard care. Nikasha did an outstanding job, and I am very appreciative of her great care, patience, and support.
