Niki has been by far the most patient, never giving up to build rapport with our son, who is two years old. We were life-flighted here due to a tragic accident with our son. We had a rough time coping at times, and Niki made not only us as parents feel comfortable by always going above and beyond for us, but also our son would cry every time a nurse walked in the room, but she managed to make our son comfortable. The crying would stop or lessen.

She was patient with him; she did what was needed to make that relationship, and now when she walks in the door, he gives her “dabs” and high fives and even says, “Bye, Niki.” She is the best nurse. Thank you, Niki. You’ve touched us beyond words. You are the true definition of a compassionate, caring, exemplary nurse. We will miss you once our stay comes to an end.
