Nikki is an experienced nurse. She works in all capacities in Critical Care. She gives compassionate care to all the patients. She comes in frequently when the unit is short staffed and acts as a resource nurse because of her many years of experience.
Nikki was instrumental in getting the stroke program implemented. She went to each nurse in the unit to make sure they all received the training and information needed to help the stroke program run smoothly.
Nikki keeps her cool and calm manner in all situations including short staffing, codes, difficult situations, etc. By doing this, she is showing her leadership skills to all. When Nikki is in charge, she is able to get to each staff member and make sure that they have the support they need to care for each patient.
Nikki works collaboratively with physicians and is respectful to patients and staff. Thank you, Nikki, for all that you do.
