Nikki Knight, RN
Nikki was my leadership student for the night. Our shift started off not so busy, which was a good thing because we had a scheduled nurse call in with no one extra to help cover her shift. However, quickly we had a patient come in in labor and Nikki was more than ready to jump right in and help. She provided just as much help to me as my other partner did whom I was working with. Being a student, I would not have expected her to jump in and help with getting this patient admitted and settled as she did. She followed directions very well and was also helping to check on other patients on the unit. She participated as a part of the team that night and was very appreciated! She will become a fabulous RN!
