One of our employees in Patient Access received a severe injury that required surgery and subsequent extensive dressing changes at home. Nikki first took her home when she was discharged, she then would go after work and on her days off every time the dressing needed to be changed and to make sure she had everything she needed. Nikki noted that the employee was getting discouraged, so Nikki put the word out to the staff in the Cancer Center and they in turn sent cards and encouraging words to the employee to get her through this difficult time.
The employee is so grateful and felt that Nikki was sent by God.
