On two recent visits to the hospital, this nurse was amazing. The first time my son was going to have to stay in overnight while awaiting a CT result. On several occasions I overheard her pleading and persuading the radiologist to report on the scan to avoid an overnight stay. The effort she went to and the end result of being able to bring my son home meant so much to us as a family.

The second time I experienced her exceptional abilities was with my 4-year-old “stubborn” daughter. Where so many staff before had struggled, this nurse used her no-nonsense approach to teach my daughter the right inhaler technique. The result was that she received the correct dose of the inhaler and her breathing improved immediately. I was so grateful to her for her understanding and insight.
