My husband has been in this hospital 4 times in less than a year. Nikki exemplifies the profession by being a dedicated nurse and patient advocate that goes above and beyond.
Nikki has provided both of us the emotional care and support I didn't recognize was needed. She has educated us and seen our needs before we knew ourselves. She is a cheerful, attentive caregiver. When Nikki was able to be our nurse more than one time during this stay, she exhibited the consistent high level of care and compassion that made us able to relax some, considering my husband's health problems. Nikki made sure during the night that I was able to speak with the Cardiothoracic PA to have questions answered that were not in her scope of practice. Thank you, Nikki, for taking care of the patient's mind, body and soul. We can never thank her enough for all she has done for both of us.
